When a school tour boards the train to Dublin, there’s an audible groan from the others in the same carriage hoping for a peaceful journey…. But those same people approached us as we arrived in Dublin to compliment the children on how well behaved they were. 😀
We had a great day in Dublin today with the best children. Together, we learned a lot and we laughed a lot and there wasn’t much change coming home in the pockets😀
We visited Croke Park, did the Viking Splash tour, a quick visit to the sights in the Phoenix Park and finished off with some shopping in Liffey Valley. It was a tired but happy group that arrived safely back in Mallow tonight.
What a great day of fun and activity the middle classes had today. Starting off the day with some play time at Crag Caves followed by a visit down to the caves. On the bus again then for a trip to Tralee Wetlands and finally finishing off the day with a trip to Burger King and spending the pocket money in Mr Price.
The last room to go on their tour were the Infants and what a wonderful day they had at The Farm’ in Grenagh. Another tired and happy bunch arrived safely back
Our 6th Class were treated to a trip to Cork on the train; a game of bowling; lunch at McDonalds, a spot of shopping and ice cream at Gino’s Gelato to round off the day.
